DCircuit Lab 3.1

DCircuit Lab serves as a comprehensive tool for simulating both combinatorial and sequential digital circuits. Its user-friendly interface allows simulation in two distinct modes:

1. Single Step: In this mode, all output values are evaluated simultaneously.
2. Step by Step: Here, outputs and gates are assessed in a sequential manner, one step at a time.

For circuits that include clock inputs, DCircuit Lab provides a dynamic simulation experience. This feature allows output changes in real time in response to clock signals. Users can modify input values during this dynamic simulation, facilitating an in-depth study of circuit behavior, which is visually represented via a timing chart.

The construction of circuits within DCircuit Lab relies on various fundamental components, including gates and flip-flops:

• Inputs (three-state: 1, 0, X - undefined)
• Outputs
• Wires
• Logic gates: NOT, AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR with any number of inputs
• Flip-flops: RS, JK, T, D (both positive and negative edge-triggered with Set and Reset inputs)
• Multiplexers with customizable input numbers
• Demultiplexers with adjustable output numbers
• Fully configurable clock inputs
• Custom components defined by truth tables
• BCD to 7-segment display decoders
